Pastor Fairbanks recently became lead pastor of the Bethel Church of God in August in 2025. He, his wife, Lynn, and five children moved from Clewiston, FL where Pastor Fairbanks served as the lead pastor of the Clewiston Church of God for four years. Prior to Clewiston, he also served as Pastor for just over two years at the Bradley Junction Church of God.
Bro Fairbanks follows pastor Steve Thurmond and his wife Patricia. Pastor Thurmond retired in August of 2025 having served as lead pastor for 18 years.
We are thankful for the wonderful years of ministry of Pastor Steve and Patricia Thurmond. Although sad to see them go, we are excited to have Bro Fairbanks and his family and are looking forward to what God is going to do here at the Bethel Church of God through their leadership.
